They also have a combo light and laser that mounts on a scope, and they sell the scope with the combo attached. I saw just the combo at Dick's Sporting Goods yesterday. It looked OK through the packaging. The only reason I ordered just the laser is because I want to mount it on the bottom rifle rail, so it doesn't interfere with my factory sights.

BSA products are Chinese made, but that shouldn't immediately exclude it from consideration. When I worked at Harry Beckwith's, we sold PILES of BSA red dots, and only had 2 come back as defective. Would I use it as a fun shooting aid? Yes. To protect lives? No.
