Colt 1911 in the night stand. Yorkshire terriers provide advance warning.

GLOCK 21 sleeps under the pillow next to me, and my carry pistol is never far either.

Good ideas on locking the door and such...may not be the best for everyone, but important for people to think strategically like that.

Glock 20, 10mm of fun. Night sites, laser, and light attached to the rail. I do have the old Mossberg Persuader available too.

I have pistols in several strategic locations throughout the house, and have a G21 with nite sights, laser and light on top of my nightstand; the same location it's been in for several years.

I'm not a Glock fan by any means; sold every one I ever had except this one, which was fixed up on someone else's dime, and acquired by me cheaply, just to be a nightstand gun. I wouldn't be caught dead carrying the thing (I'm a long time 1911 guy).

Take care,

Rick

I like that idea! I do stick my carry gun, in a pocket holster under the middle pillow of the king size bed. But I think a larger caliber is in order, I may trade up if it does not scare the wife too much.
