Found one for a decent price, and have been thinking on getting one on GP, are they any good?

Have a Saiga in .308, great blammer.
I have read the shotgun is very dependable and a hoot to shoot. I am guessing I prefer the pumps and conventional semi-autos. Less bulky, lighter perhaps and I never feel the need to throw the shottys in a wet muddy wheel rut and run over them. If I did, I would buy two Saiga 12's.

I just bought one on Gunbroker.com; the price (and demand) for these keeps going up. I had heard that you could buy one for around $479 - $489. NOw they are over $500 wherever you can find them.

Saw one taday at the Tampa gun show for $649 (Florida Survivalist). Decent price given the demand and how hard they are to come by.

You are going to love it. Go to the http://forum.saiga-12.com/ for details on the conversion etc.
AGP 10 rounds are going for a fortune on GB at the moment but can be ordered directly through them and their next batch is coming soon https://www.agparms.com/
MD arms now has a 20 round drum for it and they're still taking orders for their second run http://www.mdarms.com/scripts/prodview.asp?idProduct=1714

All Saigas are hard to come by...especially the 12s. I've got a .410 and 20... If you like AKs, you will like Saiga shotties.
