i just don't have the extra room in the current place.
i'm tornado/hurricane bait trailer trash right now. :)
I started reloading when I was 15 and casting my own bullets at 16. Right now I havent been loading much cause we just moved to Davenport so everything is still in boxes.
I checked the prices on ammo at Wallymart and almost choked! If I had to buy ammo I would never do any shootin!

I roll my own and I agree with you the prices have gone out of site. I never have got into casting but who knows I may in the future. Right now all I do is .38/.357, .44/.44mag and .45acp. :)

At my age I'm not sure the investment in the hardware is worth it.

Maybe, but it would give your wife more stuff to trade for the new pool boy!

I started reloading to save money ! I have since discoverd that I enjoy it as a hobby on its own ! So now I dont know whether I am reloading to shoot or shooting so I can reload !? Either way I am shooting more for the same money and enjoying all of it ! Plus my handloads are a lot more accurate than the factory loads i have tried ! Now i need a chronograph ! LOL see how much money I am saving ! Kevin

I am seriously looking into reloading. I was almost convinced on a Lee press but Hornady is running an offer. Get a LNL AP and get 1000 rounds free, pay shipping. That is close to $300 on ammo. This offsets the press price :)
Offer good Jan. 1, 2008 through Dec. 31, 2008

If someone has experience with both, I would appreciate some feedback

Hey Mr Deathpriest. I got a friend who just got the LNL press from Hornady and it is the cats meow. I liked it a lot. I got the SDB Dillon and it's a great press but it's only good for pistol and revolver calibers. Good luck on what ever you get. :D

Is it good to start with the LNL, in your opinion? Will I be better off starting with a less expensive Lee? How hard is to change calibers on and LNL, if you know, I will be reloading 9mm, 40 S&W and 45. The 1000 bullets is a good off set, I believe.
Thx in advance

I say the LNL or 550 Dillon are the two best presses out there for the average guy IMHO. You can reload handguns and rifles on either one and they will last a life time and not break the bank. Good luck. :D
