I got laid off the first week in Nov. and we are burning thru funds way too fast so I'm going to have to part with a few guns, however, I have little to no idea what these two are worth, any help/info you guys can provide would be greatly appreciated.

First is a S&W model 10-5, s/n C7104xx, with a 5" bbl. This is a "hand-me-down" that appears BNIB, I'm told it was never fired. It is in the correct box (that is the s/n on the box matches the s/n on the gun) with the warranty card. I think it is 100% since there isn't a scratch, mark or spot of rust on it.

Second is a U.S. Revolver Company .32 with a s/n of 36246. It appears to be good working order and condition.

Hey John I feel for ya. I haven't had steady employment in months. I have been selling off guns left and right. I sure hope things get better soon. Good luck to you and I hope you still have a Merry Christmas.

John-
So sorry to hear that. This economy is not getting better as the Great One has promised...

Please give me right of first refusal on the 10-5, OK?

Sorry to hear that you may have to loose a few pistols, I hope you don't have to. Luckily, I have not have to do that yet...

Anyhow, I Can tell toy that from the serial number of your Model 10 that this pistol was manufactured between 1963 & 1965 for C series K frames (C622,700 – C810,532). In one of my books it has a price of $500.00 for NIB.

From my books the U.S Revolver Company looks like it was a part of the Harrington & Richardson Arms Co. Are there any model number on this firearm?

Sorry to hear that, John, and wishing you - and Sam1911, too - good luck with finding steady work again soon.

I would think that the S&W M 10 might be worth a little bit more and would recommend the S&W forum to find a price.

I was just remembering that many people experienced problems signing up to S&W Forum, I am a member there and if you want, I can post the enquiry there for you. Let me know.

Thanks for the info and kind thoughts guys. I've got plenty of guns that I'm not attached to and will probably be posting them in the BST forum when I can get some decent pictures.

Sorry to hear about your job loss John, I trust you will come up with something soon.

Its a tough market out there and you have to keep knocking on doors and sending out resumes. I have had several friends that have been able to find new jobs, but not at the same payscale and some on a part time basis.

Good luck and be persistant!
