Gold is up off the charts, but.....the market has come back nicely.

The dollar stands a good chance at becoming worth about half of what it is today, in a few short years.

Unemployment is rising, and fast.

China is freaked at our spending and the direction our government is going.

What will happen????

The one in five that get some kind of government check or actually work for the government aren't too worried since their checks and benefits are protected.

Where is this going?

Your thoughts and opinions??

The news today for us Floridians is that unemployment has exceeded the 1972 percentage rate of 11.2% but does not take into consideration the people who are unemployed and their coverage has expired . Several cities in Palm Beach have reached record unemployment levels that far exceed the national percentage.

If China would call the bonds, we would be finished as a world power and would be at the same economic level as Kenya, or lower, in just a few short months. I doubt that Nobama would have to live in a 12 x 9 shack without running water and bathroom facilities as his half brother does. I do believe, to protect his own life, he would have to exile himself to some other country should this happen.

To create jobs you have to create immediate incentives for business to hire and/or make things. Tax breaks, investment tax credits and other incentives to assist busnesses that hire Americans, not send jobs offshore.

This administration is doing none of that. In fact they are strangling all the energy companies and creating fees and taxes to slow business growth. This is insane policey when the sky is falling.

Vancouver WA, across the river from Portland, OR is now at about 13.7% unemployment. We have been at 12.2%.

Where are all these new jobs that Congress is bragging about?

In the mystery congressional districts. You know the ones that don't even exist.

Something has to give. My gold is on the dollar crashing and runaway inflation to follow. We've got rising, unsustainable debt that can never be repaid. We've got an occupier in the White House and a Congress of out of touch closet marxists who are **** bent on destroying capitalism and the Republic by printing money out the wazoo, taxing the "rich" and taking over the health care system, banks, insurance companies, car companies and everything else that they can get their grimy hands on. We have double digit unemployment. We have radicals all through the occupiers administration. We have that corrupt occupier administration manipulating the stock market, the futures market, the commodities market and cooking the books behind the scenes on everything from job figures to the swine virus.

A crash is coming. Be ready. Be prepared. Having a government job, will not protect anyone financially in a crash.

Let's put the cherry on top! If you're a business owner with employees, hold on to your checkbook!

The Zoo's unemployment tax rate is about to shoot through the roof. Maybe it's easier to file for bankruptcy and look for a hand out!

TALLAHASSEE - (AP) -- Unemployment compensation taxes paid by Florida businesses will skyrocket next year due to the state's high jobless rate -- 11 percent in September.

The minimum tax will jump from $8.40 per employee to $100.30 -- an almost 12-fold increase -- in 2010, state Department of Revenue officials said Wednesday.

The maximum will go up from $378 per employee to $459.

Another factor contributing to the increases is that taxable wages are going up from $7,000 to $8,500 per employee.

The increases are needed to replenish the state's Unemployment Compensation Trust Fund. It dropped from more than $1.3 billion last year to zero in August. Florida then began borrowing $300 million a month from the federal government to pay benefits.

The economy did not get in this condition in the last few months, it took years of setup to get to this low point. To think it can be corrected overnight is only wishful thinking. American businesses have been looking for profits in the short term for years now. Whenever they could ship manufacturing and production to a willing foreign country to increase profits they did just that.

The long term solution is to stop buying crap from China and every other 3rd world nation and start buying US products. If there is a market for US goods, albeit at a higher price, then americans have to spend their money that way. Until we start supporting our own economy by buying domestic goods jobs will continue to go overseas and the economy will continue to sink. No amount of legislation can change that.

A major problem with that is that most americans will not work for the wages businesses are willing to pay for these types of jobs. That helps explain the huge influx of immigrants, both legal and illegal. Another problem is that the US no longer has the infrastructure to support a manufacturing base.

This is a long yet interesting video. I think it says it well and what "our" actions should be, since our it seems our forefathers and yes my generation "ME TOO" have pretty much fulfilled this quote. "The only thing required for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing." It is probably time for us to lay our luxuries and yes maybe even our personal safety aside and take actions.
