I recently acquired some 5.56 brass. My question is do I use the same loading info as for the .223? I am assuming the dies are the same dies. Thanks in advance

Sounds like you have obtained MiL brass. Resize, decap and ream or bring up to specs the primer pocket. (MIL) brass normally has crimped in primer. MIL brass normally a little thicker than standard commercial, thusly top end loads can be a little hot..Start 10% low and work up...

It is *NOT* recommended to fire 5.56 rounds in a .223 chamber.

2 out of 3 rifles are chambered in 5.56 (ARs the other is a bolt action).
GSPKurt, thanks for the reminder, but I already know not to do 5.56 in a .223 :D Hopefully someone who did not know this will benefit :D
