DC to Appeal 2nd Amendment Case

The mayor of DC has said that the District will be appealing the 2-1 decision that declared DC's gun law unconstitutional stating that the 2nd Amendment is an individual right. Should the Supreme Court decided to hear the case, we will finally have a decision on the question. However, should the Supreme Court reject the case, the lower court decision will stand and DC's law will be history and there will be some precident to attack gun laws that restrict the individuals right to keep and bear arms in other districts throughout the US.

Oh how I wish the SC would hear this and rule that the decision stands as is. It would end a lot of harassment of legal shops and gun owners. :D

I'd love for this one to move faster, however it will likely be a couple of months before we hear if the SC will take the case. If they do, it will be a few more months or longer before oral arguments and then longer for a decision. Tick, tock, tick, tock . . . .
