View Full Version : Montana Gold bullet?

:? Do any of you reload Montana Gold bullets? If so do you treat them as copper coated or metal jacket? They are called JFP-jacketed flat point and are 200 gr. .45acp,I couldn't figure it out on their website. I am going to start @ 4.6 gr. of HP-38,with 1.200 oal and .470 crimp. This what I use with LRNFT, and works fine-so far. Thanks ahead, Woody

I have loaded 1k of that exact bullet. It is a jacketed bullet.

Try Hodgdon Universal if you get a chance. Clean, meters well. My favorite.

I agree with KURT, they are jacketed, Universal is excellent powder, I personally deal with the dirtyness of Bullseye because I get it in bulk. Good luck and welcome to the reloading world
